Boredom struck

I randomly was doom scrolling through YouTube when I came across a Polyfjord video on tracking. Figured I would give it a whirl and see how it did. Pay no attention to the masking as it was late, I was tired and it was more a test of the tracking process than post production.

This is the video that I found about the tracking method.

Did you make the car in blender?

@Aarav yes, I made both in blender. The Ferrari can be found here You Guessed It, Another Car

The Lamborghini I am pretty sure I modeled before I started coming here on Blendermania3d

HOw are your cars and scenes so realistic?-and how do you make your cars so nicely?

Did you use VXF in the animation-btw on the discord you should join the HOP this wednesday and saturday

Plenty of practice, repetition, and references. As for the cars in my driveway I used render passes and render layers as image sequences then brought those into Davinci Resolve to composite. I am not a speedy modeler so I don’t generally do HoP.

What is davinci Revolbr?

That’s a link to the BlackMagic website that will explain it better than I can.

Very nice!

This looks really amazing. You can’t even tell the car was a 3D model.

Thanks for that, but there is a lot that would still need done with that shot more believable (in my eyes at least). I might do a proper version of this at some point.
