I started rendering the animation once again, but it is taking my machine almost 6 minutes to render each frame, and the part that I’m re-rendering has 503 frames, so do the math and you can see that I’ll be spending this week and a bit of the next rendering these frames
That is cool! Is that a tube transport thing like in futurama?
Yep, the idea was based in an old cartoon from the 70’s called Star Blazers where cars and/or trains went forward and backward inside it. It connects the various city domes in this world
The compositing node tree is a bit big so to give you guys and gals a better view, I divided it into 2 parts. So there are three pictures for the compositing, being one showing the whole tree and the other 2 the parts.
The forth picture is the material…
Though I have the funny feeling that the inside view is missing something, as it is a little blend… In your opinion does the inner roads of a city block needs to be modeled or just painted on the texture? Also I need to create a populous (citizens)completely made of robots. I have 7 of them modeled but I need to diversify and need help in how to…[Read more]

It could be a simple model with very little vertices for the roads however even that will add a lot of depth to it. As far as adding citizens or robots around the city I would use a hair distribution and change it to object and that way with…[Read more]

Dude that is amazing! It’s coming along a lot better than I could have even imagined! I’m pretty impressed with your progress and your commitment to the project. Definitely cannot wait to see the completion of it!
I appreciate it, it took some time of trial and error to set the compositing nodes, to set the glare, the mist, the blur, etc… if you so desire I`ll attempt to post here the node three, so others might experiment on their project based on what I did. Though I`ll explain the force field.
The ground, the force field and the columns are all a…[Read more]
