Ace Stapler 102 - time to get back to it again

The blue neck got all messed up under the head , so I am going to try to make a better one

Cut off some of the spriing, probably will add a bumper to it

Made a ring for the spring to hold into and a bumper, again flying blind , but seems to make sense , also started working on some of the slide to pushes the stapler

Uhhh no, I had a addon for that , but forgot to install it lol
I’m sure it’s been about 5 days of time, from searching for refs to now

oK, fixed my bevel issue, with help from Phillip. Also drilled a hole for bolt for pivot bolt

Made pivot bolt washer and nut. started the brace for the pivot

I will call it the pivot brace, thats done

SO this is where I am at now.

I will work on refining the base , there is a channel that run through the center I will need to add , and add holes for the rivets that hold brace to the base, will start there.

Also realized I need a hole in the center of the brace still to add the spring holder

Started makiong a base , a bit tricky , but got it worked out,

So here’s the next steps

(A) Have to make a latch type mechanism to change how staple is used.
(B) There is a spring near the brace on inside of neck, with a plate on top and make hole for spring guide
(C) make rivets and holes for rivets in base

As I was about to move on, noticed from the last picture , the trough needed moved forward, so fixed that

ok , now comes probably the hardest piece to make, I will call it the anvil, this is complicated because it has a second anvil , that is on a spring hinge that pivots back on top of this one , we will start with what I know needs to be there and get the main shapes in , I may have to boolean it , but will try to do without to start , no booleans have been used , why start now? lol. So staple gets forced down into the anvil, bending it concave slots, will start there and and two make two rivets to hold it on and the slots

I also understand some drawings may not be be accurate to model , I am just trying to show how I tackle things like this , drawing it out not only for you but myself, allows me to visualize it better plan out what I need to do
