Why does the texture keep breaking?


Every time i group all the parts of this crossbow and press CTRL+J the textures ruin, anyone got a idea how to fix this ?

Looks like it is applying the primary texture to all your objects.
I would rename all your textures correctly for each part.
It should then still keep the textures for each individual piece.
If it does not, you may still have to go in and apply the correct texture to each piece.
Even when it is grouped, when you are in edit mode, you can select mesh objects with L and then assign the correct texture. As you have named them correctly now in relation to the part of your object, you can assign. Then deselect all and repeact on new component until all textures are applied.
