The tutorial was for a beat up looking wood chest and had a lot of steps, I screwed it up early so didn’t have the foundations right. However, as I have a deadline for my medieval scene and wanted to use the chest it in, I tweaked it and finished it. For now. And yes, it is supposed to look a little beat up, hence the dents 
I kno you struggled with this… but your end result is actually really good… may not be the way the tutorial was… or how you wanted it to be… but it looks fantastic
