I have started with Blender about 5 months ago and have so far only done a few low poly cars and props. So I thought lets see what’s on udemy and do a course to learn the basics in the right way instead of jumping through youtube videos… So long story short I found this course and am I glad I did!

This course teaches you the most crazy things and really improves your Blender skills really quickly. Alex is such an incredible teacher.

I honestly never in my life thought I would be able to model a character let alone rig it and create crazy things like shape keys. I am now on the library section and the course somehow just keeps getting better. I wish I saved the progressions so I could share the entire process with everyone but I’m so happy with my character especially when given the fact that this is my first character model ever. The reference images did most of the work in honesty but I still learned what proper topology is and how to sculpt many different things so all and all, this has been one crazy ride so far. Thank you very much to Alex for putting this course together.

I know there is still some tidying up I need to do but honestly I never in my life thought I could even get close to this result.

Dude this is awesome! Congrats on the progress you’ve made, that alone is a huge achievement. I’m glad you are enjoying the course so much and getting a lot from it! It’s awesome to see how much more empowered you are now with Blender! The images are great reference but everyone uses reference images so the work is all you my friend. Thanks a lot! The rigging part was awesome and learning to sculpt was something else. Absolutely love the course and after this one I want to do the particle systems course and will also look out for other character creating courses from you! Have a good one man.

Well done on your model, The investment in time is big but also so are the rewards. What I liked just as much as the picture was your story / journey. +1
