Blender is awesome, however I have also been starting to experiment with some other mediums as well. There is something nice about using traditional art materials. I’m still a beginner at this, however did like how this one turned out.
I traced the initial sketch outline from this reference https://pixabay.com/photos/crimson-rosella-rosella-bird-164013/ and I tried to match the colors.
It’s painted using Pearl Ex metallic pigments. Since the pigments are metallic it looks shiny although the shining effect is hard to see in the photo.
