Made a simple fly-by animation :
Used models from my Chasm Call challenge entry for the structure/building with some addition from own asset pack, sand/desert texture from site texture, sky background from Unsplash. Animation done in Blender with post-processing in Blender and a bit of DaVinci Resolve, music and sfx from Pixabay.
The process started around October, and despite relatively simple it took so long to finish. Had a hard time deciding the ‘filling’ element between the structures. At first I wanted it to be water surface as it looked easy, but couldn’t get satisfying result. Was thinking then to put/scatter some kind of small structures or greebles, or just use simple ground/soil. Kept going back and forth among these three before finally chose the sand/desert.
