What do you think of when you think Ancient Rome?

Guidelines for the contest:

90% has to be done in Blender

Submission has to be submitted by 2/28/22 Midnight PST

Only ONE submission per person

Work has to be original and not copied from another artist

Has to be a new project and not a render you did a long time ago

That looks really cool! You did that really fast, you could of taken the whole month. I really like it.

This is a Crazy Roman soldier!

Do not expect to get a nomination…posting as got to a point where Blender just kept crashing on me.

What did I learn. Well, sewed some clothes. Rigged character with no reference. Created armor with a different technique I’d seen. Basically was trying a bunch of character stuff I had learned or seen.

I know there are some clipping issues.

I know there some bodily shape issues.

He even had a sword, that’s gone AWOL as well!

But it was fun trying…

Well, this one took me around 3-4 days, so I guess it’s true. Cycles render, table texture from IC. Rush jobs, so some building details are omitted.
