The “Animated” option is not selected on the panel that moves at the bottom. Once you enable it, it works. Let me know if that solves it

Alex, I’m trying to parent the umbrella to the woman’s hand, but for some reason it’s not working. Can you please help?

Hey Phil. So you need to go into object mode. Select the umbrella, then shift+select the armature in object mode. Then hit ctrl+tab to go into pose mode. Go to the hand bone and hit ctrl+P and parent to bone and it will work
