Hi Blender Buds - I hope you enjoy this video. It is of a predator bacterium. If you have some ideas on how I can make the growing bezier curve (time stamp 11 sec) create the “sausage-like” shapes as it grows, let me know. As for time stamp 32 sec, I would like to have the “sausage-like” shapes move and create a growing “bulge” on its host, before they burst out. Thank you! JeM

Very nicely done JeM! As far as animating what you want, I would suggest trying to make shapekeys and animating those to create and animate the shapes you want
