Starting the scene with couch, table and lamps.
Very nice Uwe! Liking the cousion patterns!
The entire solution is now presented. Initially, I started with 50k Dust Points, which then took 90 minutes of rendering time with my RTX80 GPU, resulting in particles that were too numerous and too large. I subsequently reduced their size and used only 15k. In my opinion, the rendering now looks very good. I also tried out various experiments based on your composition explanations. The explanation about local changes with Cryptomatte is particularly nice. For instance, in this rendering, I changed the carpet’s color from red to purple. BTW, I used for the carpet the hair particle system instead of fur.
Very well done Uwe! Love the style and look of this. Reminds me of American Indian or Mexican tapestry style couch / pillows. Very well done!
