Alright. Thanks for the tip Alex.
Very nice! You got the mouth done! Awesome job man
This really took me some time to work on retopoing the first limb.
Next step will be to duplicate it and adjust them on the rest of remaining legs. I’ll make it work.
Nicely done man!
Added the multires modi onto the Low Poly and played around with the resolution.
Experimented on the Smooth by angle modi too.
So after adding Multires Modifier, I tried to work on the scales. However my hardware can’t handle with Subdiv Level 6.
I even tried adding Subdiv Surface modi on top of a Multires Subdiv Level 5.
I know this might seem confusing but its really that simple.
After re-evaluating my workflow thanks to GPT, I realise that if " you wanna work with Texture brush on a multires modifier workflow, you gotta ensure your Topology is solid."
So instead of wasting too much time trying to find a way to solve, I resort myself to just keep moving forward with what I can produce.
There is a way but I have to integrate Dyntopo with Multires.
Sculpting has 3 workflows
-Dyntopo
-Multires
-Voxel Remesh
@stella (Just a follow up)
Btw I’ve increase my brush strength value > 1.
Tips on working with stencil
-Right Click to move the stencil
-Shift : scale the stencil
-CTRL: Rotate stencil
Alright Alright Alright!
After almost 2 weeks, here we are. Not bad at all. Soaked in all the lessons that Alex has discuss during this tutorial.
I am glad I retopo this mesh by hand.
Now moving forward, its time to UV unwrap it and texture paint it.
Sick man! So it begins!
Almost got a heart attack after losing my 4hours + of progress due to a weird save bug.
I can’t seem to “save” it, so instead of clicking “save” the png, all I did was click “save as” to overwrite the previous png.
Overall, I think I am quite done with sculpting. Just gonna do some touch-ups on the texture painting and we are ending this 2nd sculpt Tutorial.
